Take Action at Historicon 2021

After many years I finally made my custom WW1 trench boards.  I made good use of the pandemic time. I always wanted the ground to have a reddish color to represent the clay earth.

We played Take Action, and this was French 6th Army on Day 1 of the Battle of the Somme, July 1 1916. The attack on the Village of Curlu. It was great to roll some dice with Le Coq Fou

Republican Romans

I've been slowly working on 10mm romans for To The Strongest.

I've completed the triarii, princeps and hastati.  Still need to finish the velites, commanders, and cavalry.

Historicon 2019 Part 3

Continuing with the pictures from Historicon 2019.

Next up, a really beautiful western board.  Not sure what rules they were playing but the detail on this board was pretty sweet.

Then there was this pirates board.  Super cool.  I'm not really a big pirates fan, but if i got to play on this board it might change my mind...

Historicon 2019 Part 2

Here's Part 2 of the pics from Historicon 2019.

There was a really nicely done Waterloo table.

Then there was this nice table for Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago

Also saw Cruel Seas from Warlord Games. I gotta saw, seeing all those ships in person...the miniatures are really nice!

There was another naval game, not sure what the ruleset was.   Naval games tend to attract a certain type of gamer.

The Lard America guys had a great WW2 Chain of Command board (i think it was chain of command)

Next up, a jungle beach landing. I think this was supposed to be Pacific Front.
What a great table.

Right near the entrance of the Vendor Hall was this stunning Siege of Paris game.

Still more pictures in the next update.
